Becka deHaan

Becka deHaan has been described as “traditional yet soulful,” a spirited sound. She has been on the Fredericton music scene since 2008. She holds a certificate of Grade 10 Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Arts degree in theology and English from Canadian Mennonite University. Career highlights include being the opening act for the East to West music festival in Shediac in 2014 and serving for four consecutive years as music leader at the New Brunswick Christian Ashram from 2014 to 2017, and she is currently music director at the Lincoln Baptist Church. She has released two full-length albums, and a third is on the horizon for later in 2019. Her second record, “Long-awaited, Unexpected: Songs for Christmas,” received the 2014 East Coast Music Award for Gospel Recording. We hope you enjoy what she has to offer tonight.

Becka will be our guest artist at the Oasis Cafe on Thursday August 22nd, 8:45-10pm.
